Read to Me Picture Book Challenge


I have taken on another challenge for the 2012 year.  Now I have made the commitment to read  200 picture books( Harvesting Level) this year to a child.  I have a wonderful audience, my 14 second graders.  They will love this challenge. :) I will post monthly the names of the books I've read and students'  delightful comments.     Enjoy the challenge! I participated last year, although I had no one to read to but myself, and read 120 picture books -- it was a great experience.

    Good things can only come from this challenge. I can't wait to blog what my second graders have to say about the books I choose. I am gathering my list, do have any favorites to add to it?

    I too participated with 120, like Beth, last year, and loved it. I am doing other challenges as well as Picture Book Perfect Fridays, so I think I won't again this year....

    Well some of my favorite authors would be: Mem Fox, Mo Willems, Karma Wilson, Jon Muth, Peter Sis, Peter Reynolds, Michael Garland,
