January Checked Off !

I have finished my January draft for 12x12x12 challenge. Actually I did two this month.  I have entered one story in the Highlight Fiction Contest.  The category: A funny story inspired by an unsual newspaper headline. The headline read Elvis the Crocodile Steals Lawnmower. My story is titled,"Don't Feed the Crocodile."

    I didn't enter, but I loved the news story about the crocodile & lawnmower :)

    My kids inspire most of my stories.

    Good Luck with your entry! I have been looking for 'funny' headlines but haven't found any that inspired me. Maybe next year!

    I did not enter the contest but my Jan draft was inspired by a couple of the children in my toddler classroom :)
